Limmud is a unique Jewish cultural conference, based on the model that was developed in the UK more than 40 years ago. Limmud provides you with an opportunity to meet new people, and learn about a huge variety of topics.
Limmud FSU Israel 2021
Every Limmud conference has several sessions running in parallel, and you choose what to attend. There is also a children's program for various ages. The sessions feature speakers from many walks of life - politicians, scientists, journalists, artists and cultural figures. In addition, anyone can propose a topic to present.
The format of Limmud is unique in that the conferences are largely organized by local volunteers, who create the program that is most interesting for their community. Presenters are also volunteers.

Limmud operates across the world - from Johannesburg to New York, and from Melbourne to Jerusalem; conferences are open to all, irrespective of age and involvement in Jewish life.
Everyone who attends a Limmud event is a partner in the success of the event, and participation fees are part of the budget that allows the conference to succeed.
Limmud FSU was founded in 2006, and offers Jewish learning and community gatherings for Jews living in the FSU and Jews from these countries around the world. To date, more than 80 conferences have already been held in 13 countries, with between 200 to 2,500 participants in each conference.
